In March, two of our Office of Inspector General (OIG) employees completed professional training and earned certifications through the Association of Inspectors General.
Inspector II Natalie Gannon (right in photo) earned the Certified Inspector General Inspector/Evaluator credential and Inspector I Jethsabet (Betty) Lind (left in photo) earned the Certified Inspector General Auditor credential. These certifications support our OIG’s commitment to promoting professional standards and excellence across the office.
By authority of the Constitution of the State of Florida, Article VIII, Section 1. Pursuant to the legal authority and responsibility cited above, the Clerk established the OIG to fulfill the responsibilities of the office as they relate to the auditing, review, and investigative functions of financial programs and financial processes of the County. In addition, per Florida Statutes, the Clerk is responsible for the audit of guardianship reports, which are prepared and completed under the OIG.
