What Are We Doing?

To ensure that everyone can fully participate in and benefit from the public services offered by the Clerk, web-focused accessibility standards have been incorporated into the design and maintenance of our website to ensure accessibility for all people regardless of ability or method of access. We strive to conform at a minimum with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA standards as defined by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

How Are We Doing This?

We monitor and maintain the content of our website considering these standards to maintain our accessibility goals. Our website staff employ the use of both manual, human-led and automated accessibility tooling within our CI/CD pipeline to help catch issues prior to publishing. These tools and methodologies include:

Jury Services Accessibility

Scope and Specific Exceptions

As a Clerk of Court and Comptroller, certain digital content may be subject to specific exceptions under DOJ Title II, including:

• External Filings: The Clerk’s office makes available documents filed by independent third parties in judicial and administrative proceedings. These documents are created by external filers or agencies and are not under the direct control of the Clerk’s Office. While we encourage all filers to submit accessible documents, these filings may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
• Court Filings & Official Records & Archives: Historical court records and images digitized for public access.
• Third-Party Portals: Content provided by vendors for functions such as Jury Management, Foreclosure Sales, and Payment Processing. We are actively auditing these partners for compliance.
• Pre-existing Documents: Conventional electronic documents (PDFs/Word) created before April 2026 that are not currently used for active agency services.
