Our office joined the statewide celebration of Government Finance Professionals Week from March 17-21, 2025.
This weeklong celebration, sponsored by the Florida Government Finance Officers Association (FGFOA), aims to recognize the role and vital services provided by finance professionals for their local government and community. Awards are given to exemplary finance professionals to acknowledge their contribution to the county and office they serve.
Our finance professionals achieved several accomplishments in the past year, including launching a legal advertising website for public notices and publishing the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) and the Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR). In recognition of the office’s commitment to upholding the highest principles of governmental budgeting, we were awarded the Distinguished Budget Award and the Award for Outstanding Achievement. Additionally, select staff members were chosen to participate in the Florida Government Finance Officers Association Leadership Program in 2024.
