Our office successfully hosted the 5th Annual Valentine’s Day Wedding and Vow Renewal Ceremony, which I officiated, at the Eva Sugden Gomez Center at Baker Park.
15 couples celebrated the most romantic day of the year by tying the knot, while 24 couples renewed their wedding day vows. The ceremony was followed by cake, punch, and commemorative photographs. Each couple was also treated to gift bags, courtesy of local Naples businesses.
Several couples also commemorated milestone anniversaries. Five couples celebrated 50 years of marriage and two couples celebrated 25 years of marriage. The couples have also shared heartwarming stories of how they first met and a brief glimpse of their romantic journey together.
After 19 years together, one couple chose to marry through the Valentine’s Wedding Ceremony. Another couple shared their heartfelt story: meeting in sixth grade, becoming sweethearts in high school, enduring a separation when she moved away, and reconnecting 12 years later to rekindle their romance.
Many more unique stories of how couples found love and their shared history are documented in a celebratory program available at collierclerk.com.
