I want to invite Collier County residents and visitors to the second Real Estate Lunch and Learn seminar for property sellers, buyers, and renters entitled “Avoid the Six Biggest Costly Mistakes: Real Estate Laws Have Changed.” The seminar is organized by the York Team of Downing Frye Realty, Inc. and will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at the Library Headquarters, 2385 Orange Blossom Dr., from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The first session was successfully held on January 17, with participants actively engaged and equipped with the right information and expectations for the real estate industry this year. I’d also like to thank Wink News for dropping by to feature our first session in their Wink News Consumer Report.

In this Lunch and Learn event, five expert panelists will share their insights about local real estate trends and predictions for 2025, prevention of property scams, property insurance, changes in real estate laws, and mortgage rate trends. In this interactive discussion, attendees will gain valuable information to help them sell, buy, or rent a home in 2025. This is not a sales or promotional event; it is intended to provide attendees with insights into Collier County and State of Florida homeowner information.
I am honored to represent the Clerk’s office on a panel with James D. York and Morgan E. York, York Real Estate Group of Downing-Frye Realty; Chris Mitchell, Brightway Insurance; and Robert Slaughter, US Bank.
This free educational seminar is open for all residential homeowners and those considering buying, selling, or renting a home in Collier County. RSVPs are required and will be open until Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 3:00 PM. Please contact Morgan York at 239-821-0150 or email JDY@YorkNaples.com to register or for inquiries.
