Government Finance Professionals Week is a time to recognize the dedicated employees who ensure responsible management of public funds and the financial integrity of Collier County. Observed March 16–20, this recognition honors our finance professionals for their commitment to transparency, accountability, and the responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars—not only during this week, but throughout the year.
Our Finance Department produces DOLLAR$ AND $EN$E, a Citizen’s Guide to County Finances, also known as the Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR). The PAFR is a condensed, easy-to-read presentation of Collier County’s financial information for the fiscal year, designed to be accessible even for readers without a finance background. Our PAFRs have received the Award for Outstanding Achievement from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA). The Fiscal Year 2025 PAFR will be available at the end of March on our website. The Clerk’s Office is proud to celebrate our finance professionals whose expertise, accuracy, and commitment keep critical operations running smoothly. From budgeting and audits to financial reporting and compliance, their behind-the-scenes work has a direct impact on the services we provide to our community. Their efforts truly make a difference every day.
