Farewell, Summer Interns!

As summer winds down, we want to extend our sincere thanks to our incredible interns for their hard work and meaningful contributions over the past few months. It’s been a pleasure having you as part of the Collier County Clerk’s Office team. We hope this internship has been as rewarding for you as it has been for us. Whether you’re returning to school or pursuing your next opportunity, we’re confident you’ll continue to excel and make a positive impact wherever you go.

“As a senior in high school, my internship in the Clerk’s Office during the summer really solidified my interest in law and the courtroom. Getting to sit in and watch court proceedings and a range of cases offered a firsthand perspective of the justice system at work. I learned about the importance of each position in the courtroom to ensuring fairness and developed greater appreciation for the level of precision and professionalism the job demands. This opportunity has fortified not only my determination to have a legal career but has encouraged me further to keep looking for chances where I may learn, contribute, and develop in the field.” –Intern Shanaya Goemaere

“My summer internship at the Clerk’s Office was an incredibly valuable and insightful experience, providing me with a deeper understanding of the inner workings of the courthouse. Having the chance to observe a variety of cases throughout the summer gave me meaningful insight into legal procedures and professional expectations. I loved getting to know and learn from the staff, and I am very grateful for the opportunity.” -Intern Maya Palumbo

“I really appreciated the opportunity to intern with the clerk’s office this summer. As a first-generation law student, it was incredibly meaningful to see the concepts I’ve studied in school come to life in the courtroom. Sitting in on hearings and observing the legal process firsthand was both eye-opening and inspiring. Thank you for the chance to be part of it.” -Intern Angelina L. Pappalardo
