If you missed your court date, then you failed to appear. The Court may issue a Bench Warrant out for your arrest. Order of Bond Estreature may be ordered which will cause you to forfeit the money or collateral that was posted for the bond in your case.
The courts can add on other penalties such as suspending your driving licenses. The Collier County Clerk of Courts cannot set aside a Bench Warrant. The Court has the only authority to set aside a Bench Warrant.
However, if you know that you cannot make a court date, do not just skip it. Because a Bench Warrant may be issued. You or your attorney should get in contact with the Office of the Judge assigned to your cases or the appropriate motion can be filed.
