Our office has been awarded a Recognition of Excellence certificate for successfully completing the Best Practices Excellence Program in eight categories at the 5th Annual Best Practices Awards Ceremony during FCCC’s Summer Conference in Orlando, Florida, held on June 18, 2025.
This award is a testament to our office’s excellence and commitment in providing quality services to the people of Collier County across different areas. We are honored to receive this recognition and will continue to improve our processes to meet the standards of best practices.
The Florida Court Clerks & Comptrollers (FCCC) established the Best Practices Excellence Program in June 2020 as an opportunity for Clerks to receive Recognition of Excellence certificates for choosing to complete assessments that evaluate acceptance in ten areas for best practices. Each year, the FCCC Best Practices Committee chooses different categories for recognition and establishes standard guidelines for the program. In the 2024-2025 Best Practices Excellence Program, our office was recognized in eight categories, including:
- Appeals
- Civil Contraband Forfeiture
- Court Record Retention and Destruction
- Department of Revenue Parenting Plan Fee Waivers
- Marriage License
- Public Records Requests
- Risk Protection Orders
- Vexation Litigants
