Lobbyist Registration

The Minutes & Records Department also registers and maintains a current lobbyist list for those representing clients that want to lobby before the BCC, county officials, advisory boards, and others to promote projects. Registration is done in accordance with the County’s current Ethics Ordinance.

Lobbyists that speak before the BCC and Advisory Boards are required to register with the Clerk’s Office each fiscal year in October and send updates related to client lists (please communicate as unchanged or changed with documentation provided) quarterly (Jan, April, & July).
