  7. 2025 Collier County Operation...

2025 Collier County Operation Greenlight Scheduled for April 2 & 3

The annual Collier County Operation Green Light will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, and Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 8:00 am – 7:00 pm at the Collier County Courthouse, 3315 Tamiami Trail East, Naples, Florida.

Operation Greenlight is a state-wide driver’s license reinstatement event. This two-day event allows drivers who lost their driving privileges due to unpaid fines to fully pay overdue court fines or apply for a financial plan without added collection fees. Once overdue costs have been paid, drivers who meet eligibility requirements will have their suspended driver’s license reinstated and get the “green light” to get back on the road.

In 2024, we handled 90 cases with 49 defendants, of which 30 cases were paid in full while 60 were put on a payment plan. Through this event, 43 driver’s licenses were made eligible for reinstatements. From 2021-2024, our office has received over $29,000 in revenue from the fines and fees that were collected, which help fund public services, as well as dozens of state trust funds that support criminal justice operations.

Thousands of Collier County residents are eligible to participate in Operation Green Light. Interested participants must take note that they will not be eligible for reinstatement if his/her driver’s license or driving privilege has been suspended or revoked due to:

  • Failure to fulfill a court-ordered child support obligation
  • Driving Under the Influence (DUI)
  • Failure to complete a required driver training program, driver improvement course, or alcohol or substance abuse education or evaluation program
  • A traffic-related felony
  • Being a habitual traffic offender as defined in Florida Statute 322.264
