In Recording:

  • Expanded passport photo services to the Heritage Bay and Golden Gate satellite office locations, increasing accessibility and convenience for residents and reducing wait times at the main office.
  • Hosted the 5th Annual Valentine’s Day Wedding & Vow Renewal Ceremony in February 2025, successfully coordinating a well-attended community event that celebrated couples and strengthened public engagement.
  • Conducted the Annual Passport Saturday event in March 2025, providing extended service hours to accommodate high demand and improve customer service for passport applicants.
  • Successfully completed the annual passport recertification, ensuring continued compliance with U.S. Department of State requirements and maintaining authorization to process passport applications.
  • Achieved Best Practice certification from the Florida Court Clerks and Comptrollers for Marriage License procedures, recognizing adherence to statewide standards, operational excellence, and procedural accuracy.
  • Launched an online passport appointment scheduling system using the Calendly platform, streamlining appointment management, improving customer experience, and enhancing operational efficiency.

In Courts:

  • Reduced juror summons expenses by implementing a streamlined jury management system, resulting in fewer individuals being summoned while achieving a higher juror attendance rate, improved panel utilization, and more efficient use of public funds.
  • Certified clerks to handle evidence by completing specialized training through the Property & Evidence Association of Florida, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, proper chain-of-custody procedures, and enhanced integrity of evidence management.
  • Adapted and enhanced online programs to improve user experience and increase operational efficiency for court records, enabling faster access to information, streamlined workflows, and reduced in-person service demands.
  • Hosted neighboring counties for a Best Practices Regional Training, facilitating collaboration to promote consistency and operational excellence across Clerk’s offices.
  • Trained and introduced 13 college students to courts-related duties through structured internship programs, providing hands-on experience, supporting workforce development, and fostering interest in public service careers.

In Finance:

  • Successfully converted to the new SAP SuccessFactors human resources management software with an integrated WorkForce time and attendance solution for the Clerk of Courts, Supervisor of Elections and Board of County Commissioners, eliminating manual input of payroll data.
  • Implemented a new software platform to streamline preparation of the Annual Budget Book.
  • Managed an average monthly County investment portfolio exceeding $2.2 billion in taxpayer funds—the largest among similarly sized counties and above average on a per-capita basis setting a record for highest earned for FY2025.
  • Managed the County’s $613 million debt portfolio, fulfilling all secondary market disclosure requirements, debt covenants, reporting obligations, and ratings surveillances.
  • Received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the 2024 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report.
  • Received the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting for the 2024 Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR).
  • Received the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the Annual Budget for the 2025 fiscal year.

In Technology:

  • Enabled Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) across all single sign-on applications to strengthen security.
  • Upgraded Disaster Recovery hardware to support continuity of operations.
  • Improved network reliability through the implementation of SD-WAN.
  • Enhanced the public experience by upgrading on-site kiosks to touch-screen technology and simplifying the user interface.
  • Completed courthouse computer cabling, increasing internal network reliability and enabling the deployment of secure Wi-Fi.
  • Implemented Privileged Access Management (PAM) software to further bolster overall security.
  • Successfully completed a comprehensive third-party security assessment.
  • Deployed Windows 11 within required timeframes to maintain system safety and security.

In Office of Inspector General (OIG):

  • Updated the OIG Charter to reaffirm our mission, authority, independence, and scope of responsibilities, as well as our commitment to the highest professional standards.
  • Developed a multiyear OIG Strategic Plan outlining our mission, vision, values, and strategic goals and objectives, all aligned with the key pillars of the Clerk’s organizational plan.
  • Completed a review of the County’s Conservation Collier Land Acquisition Program, leading to updates to the County’s Purchasing Policy.
  • Designed new guardianship audit processes to meet statewide Guardianship Data Transparency requirements and improved audit efficiency by implementing technology-enhanced workflows aligned with the new guardianship case management system.
