The primary role of the legislature is to approve a balanced budget for the State of Florida.<\/li>\n<li>The property tax ballot questions remain unsolved, and the issue is expected to be hashed out in a special session.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Both of these issues should be of critical concern to the citizens of Florida. To date, the multiple bills proposed provide little to no consideration of local impacts. None of the proposals appear to be well thought out and leave varying gaps in funding levels without specifics on how those gaps in funding will be resolved.
