Observed March 16\u201320, this recognition honors our finance professionals for their commitment to transparency, accountability, and the responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars\u2014not only during this week, but throughout the year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Our Finance Department produces<\/span> DOLLAR$ AND $EN$E, <span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">a Citizen\u2019s Guide to County Finances, also known as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.collierclerk.com\/finance\/reports\/popular-annual-financial-reports-pafr\/\">Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR)<\/a>. The PAFR is a condensed, easy-to-read presentation of Collier County\u2019s financial information for the fiscal year, designed to be accessible even for readers without a finance background. Our PAFRs have received the Award for Outstanding Achievement from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA). The Fiscal Year 2025 PAFR will be available at the end of March on our website. The Clerk\u2019s Office is proud to celebrate our finance professionals whose expertise, accuracy, and commitment keep critical operations running smoothly. From budgeting and audits to financial reporting and compliance, their behind-the-scenes work has a direct impact on the services we provide to our community.
