These messages warn that failure to pay immediately will result in being reported to the DMV violation database, leading to suspension of vehicle registration and driving privileges. The text includes a deceptive link to collect fraudulent payments.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, the extent of the scam&#8217;s reach is still being assessed. However, FCCC has received confirmed reports of the scam circulating in Levy, Flagler, and Citrus counties. \u201cWe urge residents to remain vigilant and never click on suspicious links or share personal or payment information in response to unsolicited messages,\u201d said Clerk Crystal K.
