{"id":18490,"date":"2025-03-05T11:16:05","date_gmt":"2025-03-05T16:16:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.collierclerk.com\/?p=18490"},"modified":"2026-01-20T12:59:31","modified_gmt":"2026-01-20T17:59:31","slug":"2025-collier-county-operation-greenlight-scheduled-for-april-2-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/app.collierclerk.com\/collierclerkcom\/2025-collier-county-operation-greenlight-scheduled-for-april-2-3\/","title":{"rendered":"2025 Collier County Operation Greenlight Scheduled for April 2 &#038; 3"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The annual Collier County Operation Green Light will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, and Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 8:00 am \u2013 7:00 pm at the Collier County Courthouse, 3315 Tamiami Trail East, Naples, Florida.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Operation Greenlight is a state-wide driver\u2019s license reinstatement event. This two-day event allows drivers who lost their driving privileges due to unpaid fines to fully pay overdue court fines or apply for a financial plan without added collection fees. Once overdue costs have been paid, drivers who meet eligibility requirements will have their suspended driver\u2019s license reinstated and get the \u201cgreen light\u201d to get back on the road.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In 2024, we handled 90 cases with 49 defendants, of which 30 cases were paid in full while 60 were put on a payment plan. Through this event, 43 driver\u2019s licenses were made eligible for reinstatements. From 2021-2024, our office has received over $29,000 in revenue from the fines and fees that were collected, which help fund public services, as well as dozens of state trust funds that support criminal justice operations.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:0}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-18491 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.collierclerk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Picture6.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"624\" height=\"224\" srcset=\"https:\/\/app.collierclerk.com\/collierclerkcom\/wp-content\/uploads\/Picture6.png 624w, https:\/\/app.collierclerk.com\/collierclerkcom\/wp-content\/uploads\/Picture6-300x108.png 300w, https:\/\/app.collierclerk.com\/collierclerkcom\/wp-content\/uploads\/Picture6-150x54.png 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 624px) 100vw, 624px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Thousands of Collier County residents are eligible to participate in Operation Green Light.
