We are excited to share that our Collier County Clerk\u2019s Office is one of the official exhibitors for the 9th Annual LCF Get Involved Collier! Volunteer Expo<\/a> to be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Coastland Center. LCF alums, current LCF classmates and all community members are invited to participate and engage with local non-government organizations and government agencies, including our Clerk\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

As the Collier County Clerk and Comptroller, and an active member of the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce, we strive to stay connected with our local business community. This year, we have prepared an exhibitor table that will showcase the roles and responsibilities of our office and how YOU can be a part of the Clerk\u2019s Office! We have several volunteer and career opportunities available for those who are interested in helping improve our community through quality public service.<\/p>\n

Court Clerk\/Customer Service Clerk<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Courts Division is an essential part of the local court system by providing superior customer service to the public, the legal community, law enforcement, other governmental agencies, and the Judiciary.<\/p>\n

The critical work provided by the Court Clerks\/Customer Service Clerks include maintaining and protecting the integrity of the court case files, jury management, court room activities that include swearing in witnesses and recording evidence submitted to the courts, assisting in the self-help center, and conducting foreclosure auctions. Additionally, the Court Clerks\/Customer Service Clerks accepts fines, fees and assessments and ensures the distribution of funds collected are distributed in accordance with the law.<\/p>\n

SAP Functional Analyst<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Clerk\u2019s Office Information Technology Division is responsible for reimagining how technology is used to streamline and simplify the services the Clerk\u2019s Office provides to the citizens, businesses and other agencies of Collier County.\u00a0 The SAP Functional Analyst is an essential part of the success of the finance, payroll, materials management and human resources functions.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The SAP Functional Analyst will gather business requirements, analyze business needs and develop solutions across the SAP S\/4Hana and SuccessFactors functional and technical landscape.\u00a0 This highly visible professional will analyze areas of efficiency\/deficiency within the organization, aid in the development of technical solutions and communicate these solutions effectively with non-technical users.\u00a0 The scope of this role includes scripting and auto testing management, software\/system improvements, end user guidance, analytics and research into existing and new technologies, with a strong collaboration between management, technical staff and end users.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Financial Accountant<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Finance Division is responsible for providing clear, concise and transparent information regarding the revenue and spending of the County.\u00a0 The Division establishes and maintains internal controls to provide reasonable assurance regarding the safeguarding of county assets against loss from unauthorized use or disposition, while vetting the reliability of financial records.<\/p>\n

The Financial Accountant will perform professional accounting functions which include preparing a variety of financial reports including the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report along with supporting work papers.\u00a0 This position will participate in the resolution of complex accounting issues and is responsible reviewing Governmental Accounting Standards Board Pronouncements and making recommendations for implementing changes.\u00a0<\/p>\n
