OBJECTIVE: To adopt updates to the 2026 Collier County Strategic Plan and list of Strategic Priorities. CONSIDERATIONS: On February 17, 2026, the Board of County Commissioners held a workshop to review the Strategic Plan and discuss progress on the County’s Strategic Priorities. Following that workshop, staff, under the direction of the County Manager, completed a review of the Strategic Plan and current priorities. The Strategic Plan serves as the County’s framework for setting direction, aligning resources, and evaluating performance. It includes the Values, Vision, Mission, Strategic Focus Areas, and Objectives that guide decision-making and service delivery. The 2026 Strategic Plan framework and Strategic Priorities continue to reflect the Board’s vision through clear, measurable priorities. No material changes have been made to the core elements of the Strategic Plan other than minor formatting updates. Updates were made to the Strategic Priorities. Five priorities were completed in 2025 and will be removed. Ten new priorities are proposed, as shown below. The Strategic Planning Lifecycle graphic has been removed, and the America 250 logo has been added. The Strategic Priorities will continue to be organized into two categories. Category A priorities will be reviewed and updated quarterly, and Category B priorities will be updated annually. These priorities represent key initiatives that will be tracked throughout the year and aligned with the County’s Priority Based Budgeting approach to support resource allocation decisions.
