Resolution 2026-56 RESOLUTION NO.26- 5 6 A RESOLUTION PURSUANT TO SECTION 129.06(2),FLORIDA STATUTES, TO AMEND THE BUDGET FOR THE 2025-26 FISCAL YEAR. WHEREAS,Section 129.06(2),Florida Statutes,provides that the Board of County Commissioners(hereinafter also referred to as"Board")at any time within a fiscal year may amend a budget for that year,and provides the procedures therefore;and WHEREAS, Section 129.06(2)(d)permits budget amendments from receipt of funds from a source not anticipated in the budget and received for a particular purpose,including but not limited to: grants,donations,gifts,or reimbursement for damages;and WHEREAS, Section 129.06(2)(e)(increased receipts for enterprise or proprietary funds received for a particular purpose may be appropriated and expended for that purpose. WHEREAS,the Board has determined that it is appropriate to amend the Budget for Fiscal Year 2025-26 by resolution pursuant to Section 129.06,Florida Statutes. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY,FLORIDA,that the budget amendments to the FY 2025-26 Budget described below are approved and hereby adopted and the FY 2025-26 Budget is so amended. BUDGET INCREASE INCREASE INCREASE AMENDMENT (DECREASE) (DECREASE) (DECREASE) NUMBER RECEIPT EXPENDITURE RESERVES EXPLANATION FOR APPROPRIATION 1839 26-234(2/24/26-16D1) $1,500.00 $1,500.00 To recognize non restricted grant donation from the Point Harbor Fund Public Service Grant through the Maine Community Foundation Donor-Advised Fund grant program to benefit the patrons of the Collier County Vanderbilt Beach Library. 1053 26-235(2/24/26-16D3) $27,950.00 $27,950.00 To recognize the housing needs of the very low,low and moderate Ship Grant income households of Collier County. 1852 26-239 $7,637.87 $7,637.87 To recognize interest earned to support the Florida Opioid Settlement Opioid Subdiv Grant Fund activities to address the opioid epidemic. 1851 26-240 $894.63 $894.63 To recognize interest earned to support the Florida Opioid Settlement Opioid National Fund activities to address the opioid epidemic. 1850 26-241 $28,448.10 $28,448.10 To recognize interest earned to support the Florida Opioid Settlement Opioid Abatement Grant Fund activities to address the opioid epidemic.
