Executive Summary
Recommendation to appoint Tamara Gubala to the Golden Gate Beautification Advisory Committee.
OBJECTIVE: To appoint Tamara Gubala to the Golden Gate Beautification Advisory Committee, to a two-year term
expiring on October 6, 2027.
CONSIDERATIONS: This five-member committee was created by Ordinance No. 87-78 to advise and make
recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners regarding the beautification and maintenance of landscape
improvements within the road right of way as described by ordinance boundaries. The Committee is tasked with
preparing an itemized budget for the funds required to carry out the Committee's business for the next fiscal year.
Members must be residents of one of the following precincts: 323, 324, 325, 326, 327, and part of 322. Terms are 4
years. A list of the current membership is included in the backup.
There are two vacant seats on this Board. The vacancies were advertised, and one application was received.

Beatilication IYSTU Advisory Committee.

WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 87-78 created the Golden Gate Beautification
Advisory Committee which advises the Board of County Commissioners (Board) on matters
pertaining to the Golden Gate Beautification Municipal Service Taxing Unit (MSTU); and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 87-78, as amended, provides that this Advisory Committee
shall consist of 5 members who represent the voting precincts within the MSTU; and
WHEREAS, there are two vacant seats on this Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board previously provided public notice soliciting applications from
interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Advisory Committee has provided the Board with its recommendation for
appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TI' RLSOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COLTNTY, FLORIDA, that TAMARA GUBALA, resident of
Precinct 324, is hereby appointed to the Golden Gate Beautification Advisory Committee, to serve
the remainder of a vacant term expiring on October 6, 2027.
