A RESOLUTION BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS, COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA,
APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING ITS CHAIRMAN TO
EXECUTE A LOCAL AGENCY PROGRAM AGREEMENT
WITH THE STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION TO CONSTRUCT FIVE-FOOT-WIDE
SIDEWALKS IN NAPLES MANOR ON SHOLTZ ST. FROM
FLORIDAN AVE. TO HARDEE ST., HOLLAND ST FROM
FLORIDAN AVE. TO CAROLINA AVE., AND CALDWELL
ST. FROM FLORIDAN AVE TO WARREN ST.,
(FPN 448129-1-58-01)
WHEREAS,the State of Florida Department of Transportation(FDOT) is willing to enter
into a Local Agency Program Agreement(the "Agreement")with Collier County,wherein FDOT
will reimburse Collier County up to the sum of$2,341,880.00(Two Million Three Hundred Forty-
One Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty Dollars) to construct five-foot-wide sidewalks in Naples
Manor on Sholtz St. from Floridan Ave. to Hardee St., Holland St from Floridan Ave. to Carolina
Ave., and Caldwell St. from Floridan Ave to Warren St., (FPN 448129-1-58-01); and
WHEREAS, the Collier County Board of Commissioners finds that the Agreement is in
the public interest and benefits the citizens of Collier County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA,that:
1. The Board of County Commissioners approves and authorizes its Chairman to sign the
Agreement pertaining to FPN 448129-1-58-01.
2. The Collier County Clerk is directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution along
with the Agreement for execution by FDOT.
3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
