Should a hearing be held on this item, all participants are required to be sworn
in. Recommendation to approve an amendment to the Collier County Growth
Management Plan for the unincorporated area of Collier County, Florida,
specifically amending the Rural Golden Gate Estates Sub Element of the Golden
Gate Area Master Plan Element and Golden Gate Future Land Use Map and Map
Series to change the designation of the property from Estates-Mixed Use
District, Residential Estates Subdistrict to Estates-Mixed Use District, Orangetree
Bible Subdistrict to allow a conditional use for a church up to 12,000 square
feet. The subject property consists of 4.20± acres and is located at the
northwest corner of Shady Hollow Boulevard East and Immokalee Road in
Section 10, Township 48 South, Range 27 East, Collier County, Florida;
furthermore, directing transmittal of the adopted amendment to the Florida
Department of Commerce; providing for severability and providing for an
