OBJECTIVE: To reappoint four current members to the Development Services Advisory Committee (DSAC) to four- year terms expiring on December 14, 2029. CONSIDERATIONS: This 15-member committee was created by Ordinance No. 93-76, as amended, to provide reports and recommendations to the BCC to assist in the enhancement of operational efficiency and budgetary accountability within the Growth Management Division and to serve as a primary communication link between the Growth Management Division, the development industry, and the citizens of Collier County. This committee represents the various aspects of the development industry, such as architect, general contractor, residential or building contractor, environmentalist, land planner, land developer, landscape architect, professional engineer, utility contractor, plumbing contractor, electrical contractor, structural engineer, and attorney. Terms are 4 years. A list of the current membership is included in the backup. Four seats on this committee will expire on December 14, 2025. The committee further requests that the Board of County Commissioners waive any term limit restrictions which would prevent these members from continuing their volunteer service on this committee.
