Resolution 2013-088 RESOLUTION NO. 2013— 88
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPOINTING MARK STRAIN TO THE
AFFORDABLE HOUSING ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, on July 31, 1991, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance
No. 91-65 establishing the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 91-65, as subsequently amended, provides that this Advisory
Committee shall be composed of eleven (11) voting members and one (1) alternate member
appointed by the Board of County Commissioners and the Naples City Council based on
residency and professional experience related to affordable housing; and
WHEREAS, there is currently one vacant, unexpired term on this Advisory Committee
for a representative of the Collier County Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Collier County Planning Commission has provided the Board of County
Commissioners with its recommendation for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that MARK STRAIN, representing
the Collier County Planning Commission, is hereby appointed to the Affordable Housing
Advisory Committee to fulfill the remainder of this unexpired term, said term to expire on
October 1, 2014.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second and majority vote on this the 9th
day of April, 2013.
