.A RESOLUTION RENAMING OLDE CYPRESS BOULEVARD
TO LOGAN BOULEVARD NORTH, WHICH STREET IS
LOCATED NORTH OF IMMOKALEE ROAD AND EAST OF I-75
IN SECTION 21, TOWNSHIP 48 SOUTH, RANGE 26 EAST,
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners is authorized pursuant to authority of
Chapter 336.05, Florida Statutes, to name or rename streets and roads, except for certain state
roads; and
WHEREAS, Sections Twelve and Thirteen of Ordinance No. 2007-62, codified as
Sections 22-357 and 358 of the Code of Laws and Ordinances of Collier County establishes
criteria and procedures to rename streets or roads; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has been requested to rename Olde
Cypress Boulevard to Logan Boulevard North. This street is located in Section 21, Township 48
South, Range 26 East, Collier County, Florida as depicted on the plat of Olde Cypress, Unit One,
recorded in Plat Book 32, Pages 1 through 11 of the Official Records of Collier County, Florida.
An illustration of the location of the street is attached hereto as Exhibit"A"; and
WHEREAS, the proposed street name is not in conflict with any existing street name;
and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the County to rename this street.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
The name of this street is hereby changed from Olde Cypress Boulevard to Logan
Boulevard North.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be recorded in the Public Records of
Collier County, Florida and noted upon the maps of the street and zoning atlases of Collier
County and notations made on the referenced Plat.
