A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPOINTING GERALD MURPHY AS THE CITY
OF NAPLES REPRESENTATIVE TO THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING ADVISORY
COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, on July 31, 1991, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 91-65
establishing the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 91-65, as subsequently amended, provides that this Advisory
Committee shall be composed of eleven (11) voting members and one (1) alternate member appointed by
the Board of County Commissioners and the Naples City Council based on residency and professional
experience related to affordable housing; and
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy on this Advisory Committee for a City of Naples
representative; and
WHEREAS, the City of Naples has provided the Board of County Commissioners with its
recommendation for appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that GERALD MURPHY, representing the City of Naples, is hereby
appointed to the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee to serve a three-year term, said term to expire on
November 18, 2015.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second and majority vote on this the 11th day of
December, 2012.
