A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, SUSPENDING THE ACTIVITIES OF
THE COUNTY GOVERNMENT PRODUCTIVITY COMMITTEE UNTIL
JANUARY 22,2013.
WHEREAS, on June 26, 2001, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) adopted
Ordinance No. 2001-37, repealing prior ordinances and creating the County Government
Productivity Committee to review the efficiency of County government departments under the
Board's jurisdiction; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2001-37, as subsequently amended, provides that the
Productivity Committee shall consist of eleven (11) members who possess special expertise and
experience related to managing large organizations and represent the community's diverse
viewpoints and background; and
WHEREAS, there are currently six (6) vacancies on the Productivity Committee which
has resulted in canceled meetings due to a lack of quorum; and
WHEREAS, the Productivity Committee Chairman has requested that the Board
temporarily suspend the activities of the Productivity Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that all activities of the County
Government Productivity Committee are hereby suspended until January 22, 2013.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second and majority vote on this the
11th day of September, 2012.
