SHALL, BEFORE ENGAGING IN ANY LOBBYING ACTIVITIES (INCLUDING
BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ADDRESSING THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS), REGISTER WITH THE CLERK TO THE BOARD AT THE
BOARD MINUTES AND RECORDS DEPARTMENT.

meeting via telephone

2. Update on the status of Tropical Storm Isaac and its effects on Collier County —
Dan Summers, Director of Emergency Management;
Commissioner Coletta joined in at 3:11 p.m. via telephone
3. Determination of Necessity of Declaring a State of Emergency
Resolution 2012 -139: Motion declaring a state of emergency in Collier County
— Adopted 510;
Proclamation Resolution 2012 -140: Motion to limit total expenses for all funds
to $500,000.00 — Adopted 510
4. Discuss any appropriate action for the Board to take.
Shelters to be open are the following: Immokalee High School, Immokalee
Middle School, Palmetto Ridge High School (for all residents and Special
Needs residents), North Collier Park (Pet friendly Shelter) and Golden Gate
High School
