Resolution 1992-661 � • - C, DECEMBER 15, 1992 RESOLUTION NO. 92- 661 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, SETTING FORTH ITS INTENT TO USE THE UNIFORM METHOD OF COLLECTING THE NON-AD VALOREM ASSESSMENTS (SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS) FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF ROAD IMPROVEMENTS, DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS, WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM WITHIN THE NAPLES PRODUCTION PARK IMPROVEMENT ASSESSMENT DISTRICT WHICH IS LOCATED WITHIN THE NAPLES PRODUCTION PARK MUNICIPAL SERVICE TAXING AND BENEFIT UNIT. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County, Florida, (hereinafter referred to as COUNTY) adopted Ordinance No. 85-39 which created the Naples Production Park Municipal Service Taxing and Benefit Unit for the purpose of constructing road improvements, drainage improvements, water distribution system and sanitary sewer system (hereinafter referred to as the PROJECT) ; and WHEREAS, the COUNTY intends to finance this project through • the levy of a special assessment against those properties benefited by the project. The properties being benefited within the Naples Production Park Municipal Service Taxing and Benefit Unit are described below; and WHEREAS, Section 197.3632, Florida Statutes, provides a uniform method of collecting such non-ad valorem assessments and said Section requires that the COUNTY adopt a resolution at a public hearing prior to January 1 stating its intent to use the uniform method of collection of such non-ad valorem assessments; and WHEREAS, Section 197.3632, Florida Statutes, also requires that the COUNTY publish notice of its intent to use the uniform method for collecting such non-ad valorem assessments weekly in a newspaper of general circulation within each county contained in • • the boundaries of Collier County for four (4) consecutive weeks prior to the hearing; and WHEREAS, the COUNTY has published the required notices. • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: BOOK 000 PACE 56 DECEMBER 15, 1992 1. The special assessments (non-ad valorem assessments) levied within the Naples Production Park Improvement Assessment District, which is described as: All the lands located within Section 36, Township 49 South, Range 25 East, Collier County, Florida, and generally being bounded on the North by a line running parallel to and approximately 330 feet South of Mercantile Avenue, by the Section line to the East, by Radio Road on the South and by Airport Road on the West; which is within the Naples Production Park Municipal Service Taxing and Benefit. Unit which is described as: All the lands located in Section 36, Township 49 South, Range 25 East, Collier County, Florida, less and except the following described property: Commencing at the Northwest corner of Section 36, Township 49 South, Range 25 East, Collier County, Florida; thence along the North line of said Section 36, North 89°24'44" East 661.65 feet of said Section 36 and the Place of Beginning of the parcel herein described; thence continuing along the North line of said Section 36, North 89'24'44" East 1984.95 feet to the North 1/4 corner of said Section 36; thence continuing along the North line of said Section 36 North 89°06'30" East 2136.2 feet to a point which lies 510.00 feet West of the Northeast corner of said Section 36; thence parallel with the East line of said Section 36, South 0°00'36" East 637.60 feet to the North line of the South 2005.80 feet of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section 36; thence along said North line of the South 2005.80 feet of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section 36, South 89 021'02" West 2135.18 feet to the North and South 1/4 line of said Section 36; thence along the North line of the South 2005.80 feet of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 36, South 89°21'02" West 1979.94 feet to the East line of the Wesel/2 of the West 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of said Section 36; thence along said East line of the West 1/2 of the West 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of said Section 36, North 0°32'58" West 630.66 feet to the Place of Beginning; being a part of the North 1/2 of Section 36, Township 49 South, Range 25 East, Collier County, Florida; subject to a Road easement for ingress and egress over the South 570.66 feet of the West 30.00 feet thereof; subject to a Road easement for ingress and egress over the South 577.60 feet of the East 60.00 feet thereof; subject to a Road easement over the South 30.00 feet thereof; subject to utility easements to the Florida Power and Light Company; subject to easements and restrictions of record; containing • 59.69 acres of land, more or less; shall be collected utilizing the uniform method for collecting such non-ad valorem assessments as provided in Section 197.3632, Florida Statutes. 2. A copy of this Resolution shall be mailed by United States mail to the Collier County Property y P y A ppraiser, the Collier County Tax Collector, and the State of Florida, Department of Revenue by January 10, 1993. 3.
