A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING CHRISTINE H.
JONES AND BRADLEY W. SHIFFER AND APPOINTING MICHAEL
DIAMOND AND CLYDE QUINBY TO THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING
ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, on July 31, 1991, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance
No. 91 -65 establishing the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 91 -65, as subsequently amended, provides that this Advisory
Committee shall be composed of eleven (11) voting members and one (1) alternate member
appointed by the Board of County Commissioners and the Naples City Council based on
residency and professional experience related to affordable housing; and
WHEREAS, there are currently vacancies on this Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the appointments to the
Affordable Housing Advisory Committee are as follows:
1. CHRISTINE H. JONES and BRADLEY W. SHIFFER are hereby reappointed to serve
three -year terms, said terms to expire on October 1, 2014.
2. MICHAEL DIAMOND and CLYDE QUINBY are hereby appointed to fulfill the
remainder of vacant terms, said terms to expire on October 1, 2013.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second and majority vote on this the 8th
day of November, 2011.
