SECTION 9 THEREOI~i ESTABLISHING A BUDGET
REVIEW PROCEDURE; PROVIDING FOR BUDGET
REVIEW AND APPROVAL BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY CO}~4ISSIONERS' OF COLLIER
COUNTY, FLDRIDA:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Article VIII, Section 6 (d) and
Article VIII, Section 1 (f) of the Constitution of the State of
Florida of 1968, and H. B. 235 of the 1969 Legislature, Section
9 of Chapter 67-1240, SpecialLaws of Florida, is amended to read:
SECTION 9. Upon receipt of such estimate an~ certificate
of posting, the said Board of County Co~missioners may amend,
modify, increase or reduce any or.all items 'of eX~enditure in
the proposed estima:e or bu~ge:, and, aa amended, mo~ified,
increased or reduced shall approve said estimte or budget,

SECTION 2. ~his Ordinance shall take ef£ect upon

of official acknowledgment from the office of the Secretary of
State that it has been filed.
