AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING TBE ACCUMULATION OF
WEEDS, BRUSI[, DEBRIS, OR ANY NOXIOUS MATERIALS
ON LANDS WITHIN A PLATTED SUBDIVISION IN t~-
INCORPORATED AREAS OF COLLIER COUNTYt PROVID-
ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER
COUNTY, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Board of County Commissioners of Collier
County, Florida finds and determines that there is a general need
in Collier County for the measures provided in this Ordinance and
that ~.his Ordinance is enacted in the exercise of constitutional
authority for the protection DE the health and welfare DE the
people of Collier County.
Section 2. The provisions of this Ordinance shall apply to
any land within a subdivision, a plat of which has been recorded
according to law, and lying outside the corporate limits of any
municipality in said County.
Section 3. It shall be unlawful for the person or persons,
natural or artificial, in actual or const~ctive possession of
any parcel of land within a su~ivision as aforesai~, to allow
the acc~ulation of wee~s, brush, debris or any noxious ~terial
of any kind so as to create a legal nuisance, public or private,
or unsanitary condition thereon.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect at the
