ING EXCEPTIONS TO AREAS WITHIN MUNICI-
PALITIES; PROVIDING AI~ EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The transportation of garbage, trash, and refuse
on and over the public roads of Collier County, Florida, is
prohibited unless the same be done in enclosed containers.
SECTION 2: "Enclosed container" shall mean, for purposes
of this ordinance, any container whose physical structure is
such as to prevent enclosed garbage, trash or refuse from fall-
inS out, blowing out by wind action or coming out by another
accidental means during transport, and shall include but not be
limited to garbage cans, boxes, truck bodies capable of being
enclosed and any other container sufficient to prevent the acci-
dental scattering of garbage, trash and rubbish on the public
roads.
SECTION 3: It is unlawful for any person to dump or cause
to be dumped or place or cause to be placed any refuse or rub-
bish or trash of any kind whatsoever upon any public place in
Collier County except at dump sites commonly used for such
purposes and provided and approved by The Board of County Com-
missioners of'said County.
SECTION 4: It is unlawful for any person to dump or cause
to be dumped or place or cause to be placed any refuse or rub-
bish or trash of any kind whatsoever upon any private place
~he property of another in Collier County without the consent of
the owner of such property first obtained in writing.
SECTION 5: The provisions of this ordinance shall not apply
wi:bin the boundaries of any municipality in said County.
SECTION 6: This ordinance shall beoome effective as pro-
vided by law.
