Ordinance 74-40OROINANCE NO. 74-40 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 73-2 BY SPECIFICALLY PROVIDIN¢; THAT BUILDI[4G PEI~YIT FEES SHALL BE NON-REFUNDABLE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Section 107.4 , subparagraphs (a) and (b) of Ordinance No. 73-2 entitled "Schedule of Fees, Permit" be and is hereby amended to read as follows: SECTION ONI.3: "Section 107.4 Schedule of Feesf Permit: (a) Each application for a building permit shall be upon a form furnished by the Building Official, accompanied by the non-refundable fee detailed bm]ow and si~ned by tho property owner or his authorized agent. (b) The amount of non-refundable fee for a building permit, and the accompanying building inspections, shall be based upon the cost of construction, as determined by binding construction contracts, or $12.00 per square foot for living area; $6.00 per sGuare foot for garages, carports, porches, utility ronm,, whmhrooms, and workshops; and $1.50 per square foot for screened areas whichever is the greater, as follows: 1) Less than $51.00 - No Fee; although a permit is required. 2) $51.00 through $500.00 - A Fee of $5.00. 3) .$501.00 through $2,000.00 - a Fee of $10.00. 4) $2,001 through $50,000 - a Fee of $10.00. plus $4.00 per thousand dollars of building valuation in excess of $2,000.00. 5) $50,001 through $1,000,000 - a Fee of $202.00 plus $2.00 per thousand dollars of building valuation in excess of $50,000. 6) Over $1,000,000 - a Fee of $2,102.00 plus $2.00 per thousand dollars of building valuation in excess of $1,000,000. 7) To move a building, sign or structure - A Fee of $25.00. SECTION TWO: 8) To move a single trailer, or mobile hume, to an approved area - A Fee of $10.00, $20.00 if a double wide. 9) Demolition of a b~ild~ng - A Fee of~.~. 10) Any additional inspections of any ~ ~q~d due to the job not being ready for inspecti~h~l result in an additional fee of $5.00 for th~$~r~ ~'" recall, $10.00 for tho second recall and $1~ ~r~ the third and each successive recall. '~ This Ordinance shall become effective upon.becoming law. SECTION THREE: Instructiors to Clerk: The Clerk shall: 1. Cause publicatioi~ of "Notice of Intent to consider Ordinance" by publishing it in its entirety one (1) time at least fifteen (15) days before, and schedule its public hearing; excluding Sundays and legal holidays. 2.
