WITHIN THE DISTRICT; PROVIDINa FOR
NOTICE AND PROVIDING AN EFFZCTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER
COUNTY, FLORIDA ~
Section One~ .
1. ~eati0nt Millage Limitati0nt Call of Election.and Ballot.
Under the authority of Section 125.01 (q) there is
hereby created the Golden Gate Lighting District Extension within
the area described by Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
Ad Valorem Taxes within the proposed District shall be
levied, assessed and collected at a uniform rate not in excess of
one (1) mill. '
A ~pecial Referendum Election is hereby ordered and ca~le~
to bu held on March 25, 1975 in the area of ~he proposed
de~cribad in Exhibit "A" to submit to the qualified electors residing
therein the question if the District sh&11 be created to comprise
t~e area described.
The Ballots to be used for this elect~on shall ~e in
substantially the followin~ form~

The Clerk to the Board shall publish Notice of this Elect~on
once a week for four (4) consecutive weeks prior to th~ Election, the
first publication to bo at least thirty (30) days.prior to the election.
The notice shall bo in substantially the following form followed by
the area description in Exhibit "A" attached hereto{
"Notice of Special Election
Golden Gate Lighting.District Extension Creation."
Notice is hereby given that a Special
~lection shall be held, among the
qualified electors residing within the
area described below; March 25, 1975 to
'determine if the propoe~d Golden Gate
Lighting District Extension shall be
created to acquire and furnish street
lighting with an ad valorem tax levy not
to exceed one (1) mill, all within the
area described as follows~
Section Twos
1. This ordinance shall be liberally construed to effectuate
its public purpose.
2. If any portion, phrase or word of this ordinance is held invalid
or unconstitutional, the remaining parts shall not be affe.cte~.
3. Waiver of Notice.
The Board of County Commissioners. hereby waives notice
requirement by a four fifths (4/5) vote declaring that an emergency
exists necessitating the immediat~ enactment of this ordinance. The
Clerk to the Board shall' file a certified copy of thi~ ordinance with
the Department.of State as soon after its enactment as is practicable
by registered,'special delivery m~il..
4. Effective Date. ~ . ' .'.
This ordinance shall not become effective, until after
adoption,'filing with the Secretary ~f'State, an~ upon' reoeip~ of .
official acknowledgment from the Secretary of State of ~he certification
by the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County and it's ~lerk
that this Ordinance was approved by referendum election.
