AN ORDINANCE AMENDING COLLIER COUNTY ORDINANCE 76-64;
PROVIDING ADDITIONAL PURPOSES FOR THE PORT AU PRINCE
MUNICIPAL SERVICES TAXING DISTRICT; PROVIDING ADDI-
TIONAL POWERS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, EMERGENCY
AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS-
SIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA that:
SECTION ONE:
SECTION ONE of Ordinance 76-64 is hereby amended to read
as follows:
The purpose of this Ordinance is:
1. To facilitate the dedication of roadways in
Prince Subdivision to the Board of County Commissioners
County, Florida so that the defective condition of said roadways
may be eliminated thereby eliminating a threat to the health and
safety of the residents of Collier County;
2. To permit public control over the sewage treatment facility
serving Port au Prince, and
3. To accomplish all other objectives authorized by Chapter
125 of the Florida Statutes.
SECTION TWO: Severability.
If any portion, phrase or word of this Ordinance is held
invalid or unconstitutional, the remaining parts shall n_~be~ - '-
SECTION THREE: Emergency Enactment of Ordinance. ~ ~ --~
has waived all notice requirements of the Florida Statu'~ by~
at least 4/5ths vote of its membership. It has found that an
emergency exists and that immediate enactment of this Ordinance
is necessary.
SECTION FOUR: Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall take effect upon being accepted by
the postal authorities of the government of the United States
