AN ORDINANCE AMENDING COLLIER COUNTY
ORDINANCE 76-62 CREATING THE DISTRICT
2/NORT}~4EST COLLIER MST UNIT BY ADDING
A SECTION EXCLUDING THE LAND SITUATED
WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY
OF NAPLES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER
COUNTY, FLORIDA ~
SECTION ONE: Amendin~ Section One Ordinance 76-62 Excludin~ Certain Lands.
The District 2/Northwest Collier MST Unit boundaries are
amended as follows~
All lands within the corporate limits
of the City of Naples are hereby
excluded.
SECTION TWO: Governin Board Powers and Duties. ~% ~_~ ~
The governing board of the District 2/Northwest Col_~r, MS~' ~_
Unit shall be the Board of County Commissioners of Collier %t% ~_~ .
Florida with the ~wer and duty to conduct the affairs of ~ni~s
prescribed by law.
SECTION THREE:
1. This Ordinance shall be liberally construed to affect
its public purpose.
2. If any portion, phrase or word of this Ordinance is held
invalid or unconstitutional, the remaining parts shall not be
affected.
SECTION FOUR: Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall not bccome effective until after adoption,
filing with the Secretary of State, and upon receipt of official
acknowledgment from the Secretary of State of the certification by
the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County and its Clerk
that this Ordinance was approved.
