AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE A~NDING COLLIER COUNTY ORDINANCE
NO. 78-02 BY ELIMINATING SEPTIC TANKS FROM THE LIST OF
SPECIALTY CONTRACTORS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WI{EREAS, the Collier County Health Department is currSntly
charged with the responsibility to inspect the installation of
septic tanks;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAIt~D BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA:
SECTION ONE: U1 ~' ~ ....
Section 1.7.17(22) of Collier County Or~'n[n%eNo.~-7[g02m
be and it is hereby repealed.
The Board of County Commissioners at its~Regular Meeting
has waived all notice requirements of the Florida Statutes
by at least 4/Sths vote of its membership. It has found
that an emergency exists and that immediate enactment of
this Ordinance is necessary.
The Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners is hereby
directed to cause to be filed with the Department of State
certified copies of this Ordinance as soon as is practicable.
SECTION THREE: Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall take effect upon being acceD~ed
by the postal authorities of the government of the Un~ed
States for special delivery by registered mail to the~
Department of State. .~
