AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE A~ENDING COLLIER COUNTY
ORDINANCE NO. 78-16 RELATING TO ANIMALS RUNNING
AT LARGE IN PUBLIC PLACES; ESTABLISHING A NEUTERING
PROGRAM AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COM~4ISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA THAT COLLIER COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 78-16
IS HEREBY AMENDED AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE:
SECTION TWO, Subparagraph C. of Ordinance No..78-16 is
hereby amended to add Subsection (5) to read as follows: .
(5). One dollar of each license fee shall~be set a6Tde and
placed into a separate fwd which shall be use . stab s and
maintain a "neutering program."
SECTION TWO:
SECTION SIX, Subparagraph A(2) of Ordinan~ ~. 78-~
is amended to read as f~llows:
SECTION SIX:
A(2). To run at-large in or upon any public street, road,
sidewalk, other public place or upon private property without the
expressed or implied consent of the owner or lessee of such
private property.
SECTION THREE:
The Board of County Commissioners hereby, waives notice
requirements by a.four-fifths, vote declaring that an emergency
exists necessitating the immediate enactment of this ~rdtn~:e.
The Clerk of the Board shall file a certified
Ordinance with the Depar'tment of State as soon after ~s enlist e~'~nt
as is practicable by registered, special delivery m ai~
SECTION FOUR:
This Ordinance shall become effective upon being accepted by
the postal authority for delivery by registered mail to the
Department of State.
