RESOLUTION
NAMING OF STREETS ON CHOKOLOSKEE ISLAND
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners are
authorized pursuant to the authority in D.S. 336.05 to name
or rename Street~ and Roads, except State Roads; and
WHEREAS, a number of Streets located on Chokoloskee
Island are owned and maintained by the Board of County
,Commissioners, and
WHEREAS, it is desirable for identification purposes to
name these Streets,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that certain unnamed Streets
are named and designated as follows:
Chokoloskee Drive
Smallwood Drive
Demere Lane
Hamil ton Lane
Mamie Street
Worley Street
and more par.ticularly identified by the Plat or Map filed and
be reference made a part of these minutes and attached as
Exhibit "A" and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED thdt the County Engineer is hereby
directed to instnll tho appropr1nte Street name sign~ and
that this Resolution be recorded in the Public Records of
Collier County and that the Clerk be directed to note the same
in the Public Records. and plats.
Commissioner Kurke offered the foregoing Resolution and
moved its adoption. seconded by Commissioner Hancock, and upon
roll call the vote was:
Ayes: Commissioners Wenzel. Kurke, Hancock
and Moore.
Nays: 0
Absent and not voting: Commissioner Whitaker, Sr.
Adopted thiR -1Q day of May , 1972, in regular session.
