RESOLUTION NO. 2011 - 69
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPOINTING MARJORIE BLOOM AND
REAPPOINTING DAVID M. ESTES TO THE ANIMAL SERVICES ADVISORY
BOARD, AND RE-CATEGORIZING CURRENT MEMBER JAMES RICH AS
AN ANIMAL ACTIVIST GROUP REPRESENTATIVE.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 2004-06 established the Animal Services Advisory
Board to generate community involvement in order to aid the Collier County Domestic Animal Services
Department; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2004-06 provides that this Advisory Board shall consist of seven
members who, when possible, represent areas of expertise as set forth in the Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, on April 13, 2011, there will be two vacancies on this Advisory Board; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice soliciting
applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Animal Services Advisory Board has provided the Board of County
Commissioners with its recommendations for appointment.
