LET IT BE REMEMBERED, that the Collier County Board of County
CommissionerslParks and Recreation Master Plan Community Meeting in
and for the County of Collier, having conducted business herein, met on this
date at 6:00 p.m. at University of Florida - Collier County Extension
Services, 14700 Immokalee Road, Naples, Florida, with the following
members present:

Commissioner Coletta called the Community Meeting to order at 6:00 PM.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. The Commissioners were introduced.
Welcome
Leo Ochs, County Manager introduced Parks and Recreation Staff.
Tindale-Oliver & Associates/Master Plan Overview Presentation
Steve Tindale gave a slide presentation on the Parks and Recreation Master Plan.

Ouestions/ Answers
A Questionnaire was distributed and collected for community input. (See attached)
Many comments were made and questions were asked by Commissioners and the
Community.
Jim Flanagan inquired on the possibility of privatizing some county assets.
Alice McGraff questioned the age & accuracy of research used to create the Master Plan.
Annette Kniola inquired on forming an MSTU or other financial options.
Michael Ramsey made suggestions on ways to cut county expenscs to raise money for
parks nceded.
Murdo Smith asked if Golden Gate Estates was a consideration.
Several speakers did not identifY themselves.

Display Boards were set up for public review.

Meeting concluded at 7:30 PM.
