Collier Co~ty Ordinance No. 77-54 is hereby amended by addfns the followins lans~Ee co Section 250-83~) (2) (a) of the National Electrical Code 1975, adopted in Collier County Ordinance No. 77-54: Electrodes or rods of steel or iron shall have Ch~ouCe~ CO~ on surface Ealvanfzed or oChe~ise metal-coated ~or ~ ~ protection. Reinforcing bars shall ncc be used as gr~n~ electrodes unless encased in concrete and confo~inS ~o ~ subsection (~) o~ ~he 250.83 ~ton~1 ~lec~stc~l Co~. as adopted by Collier County Ordinance No. 77-54. Section 2. Conflict. In the event this Ordinance conflicts with any other ordinance of Collier County or any other applicable law the more restrictive shall apply. Section 3. Penalty. The violaCion of any provisiom of this Ordinance is a misdemeanor and shall be prosecuted in the name of the state in the county court by the state attorney, and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $500 or by imprisormmnt in the county Jarl not to exceed 60 days or by both such fine and imprisonment. Each violation and each day a violation continues shall constitute a separate offense. The Board of County Commissioners shall have the power to collaterally enforce the provisions of this Ordinance by appropriate Judicial writ or proceeding notwithstanding any prosecution as a misdemeanor. Section 4. Appeal. The review process for any person aggrieved by the application of this Ordinance shall be that same review process encompassed in Section 3 of Collier County Ordinance 77-54. Section 5. Liberal Construction. The provisions of this Ordinance shall be liberally construed to effectively carry out its purposes in the interest of public health, safety, welfare, and convenience of the visitors to and the residents of Collier County, Florida. Section 62 Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect upon receipt of notice from the Secretary of State that this Ordinance has been filed with the Secretary of State. ,,% ~,~R~:.
