RESOLUTION NO. 83-170
RESOLUTION REAFFIRMING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE
COLLIER COUNTY TOURIST DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL PURSUANT
TO SECTION 125.0104, FLORIDA STATUTES.

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners on Ja~uary 25,.:;""
1993, eltabliahed the Collier County Tourist Development Council
in Ordinance No. 93-2.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA a
SECTION I. Purpose. This Resolution is adopted pursuant to
Section 125.0104, Florida Statutes, for the purpose of
.Itablishinq the Collier County Tourist Development Council, and

to reaffirm the establhhment of the Collier County TClUrilt
Development Council as provided for in Ordinance 83-2, a copy of
which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
SECTION U. Membership. The membership of the Collier
Count~ Tourilt Development Council shall be as provided for in
Section 125.0104, Florida Statutes, and as provided in Ordinance
No. 83-2.
SECTION III. Responsibilities.
A. The Tourist Developmont Council shall be responlible for
conaiderinq the feasibility of placinq before the voterl of
Collier County an ordinance which would impose a tOUrilt
development tax pursuant to Section 125.0104, Florida Statutel.
The Tourist Development Council Ihall Itudy the potenUal UI., of
any tax revenue I and Ihall advise the Board of County
Commissioners of its findings and recommendationl. ,In the event':!/
