WHEREAS, the Environmental Advisory Counc[~ pe-'tltione~[~ the Board of County Commlssioners to amend the Zoning Ordlnance 76-30; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County~ Florida: SECTION ONE: The Zonlng Ordinance ?6-30 Is hereby amended by amending Section 8 Supplementary District Regulations by adding a new Paragraph 25 - Exotics - to read as follows: 25. Exotics - Brazilian pepper '(Schlnus tereblnthi, fo.llus) and Melaleuca (Melaleuca leucedendra), hereinafter referred to as exotics, interrupt the natural vegetation succession in Collier County and eliminate such species as cypress~ slash pine and mangroves. A. Removal of Exotics: It shall be unlawful for any person~ developer, organlzation~ society or assoclatlon~ except as herein- after exempted or' excepted, to Improve any lands without first removing any and all "exotics" occupying such lands. Removal of exotics shall be required during the initial clearing of each devel- opment phase or phases, Verlflcatlon of such removal shall be to the satisfaction of the Director. B.
