RESOLUTION NO. 2011 - 50
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA,
REAPPOINTING MICHAEL FACUNDO, FLOYD CREWS,
JAMES WALL, CARRIE WILLIAMS, ANA SALAZAR,
JULIO ESTREMERA, AND KITCHELL T. SNOW TO THE
IMMOKALEE ENTERPRISE ZONE DEVELOPMENT
AGENCY.
WHEREAS. Collier County Ordinance No. 95-22 created the Immokalee Enterprise
Zone Development Agency to encourage the principles of economic opportunity and job
creation, sustainable community development. community-based partnerships. and a strategic
vision for change and effective local fiscal and regulatory incentives; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 95-22, as subsequently amended, provides that this Agency
shall consist of not fewer than eight (8) or more than thirteen (13) members and shall include at
least one representative from specified organizations; and
WHEREAS, on April 4. 20 I I, there will be there will be seven vacancies on this Agency;
and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Immokalee Enterprise Zone Development Agency has provided the
Board of County Commissioners with its recommendations for appointment
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA. that MICHAEL FACUNDO, a non-
profit organization representative; FLOYD CREWS, a resident/business representative; JAMES
WALL, a Southwest Florida Workforce Development Board representative; CARRIE
WILLIAMS, representing a business operating in the enterprise zone: ANA SALAZAR, a non-
profit community-based organization representative; JULIO ESTREMERA, a non-profit
community-based organization representative; and KITCHELL T. SNOW, a local code
enforcement representative, are hereby reappointed to the Immokalee Enterprise Zone
Development Agency for tour-year terms, said terms to expire on April 4, 2015.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED after motion, second and majority vote on this the 8th
day of March, 20 II.
