RESOLUTION NO. 87-~
RESOLUTION APPOINTING AND AUTHORIZING THE PARKS
AND RECREATION DIRECTOR AND ADMINISTRATOR OF
THE PUBLIC SERVICE ADMINISTRATION TO EXECUTE
CONTRACTS FOR SERVICES NOT EXCEEDING ONE
THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County
has determined that there is a public desire for the County to
provide educational and recreational classes and programs at
County facilities designated by the Parks and Recreation
Department; and
WHEREAS, the classes and programs which may be offered to

the public through County facilities and administration are in
the best interests and welfare of the citizens of Collier County;
there is an ,extensive number of' proposed classes

and programs of varying d'urations,

locations, enrollments and
service providers which will require many contracts to be
implemented as necessary and appropriate; and

WHEREAS,.~in order to expedite processing, it is necessary to
q~ficialiy appoint ofracord Count1off~cials to\.e~ecdte the '<

Parks and Recreation Department contracts for services, wherein
the expenditure of the County does not exceed One Thousand Nine
Hundred Dollars ($1,900.00) per contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLOR!DA, th~t:
1. The Parks and Recreation Directo~ and the Administrator
of the Public Services Administration are hereby appointed and
authorized to execute the documents aforesaid
of Collier County. ,-
2. Said officers shall execute the documents in
following manner:

A. Signature of. both officers shall be required on each
contract for services.
B. Attestation shall be required for the signature of each
officer.
C. Each contract for servides shall be approved by the
County Attorney as'to for.m and legal sufficiency.
D. County seal shall not be. required.
