AN. ORDINANCE AMENDING COLLIER COUNTY
ORDINANCE NO. 78-47 WHICH CREATED THE
NAPLES PARK STREET LIGHTING DISTRICT~

MAXIMUM MILLAGE RATE; PROVIDING AN

WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance 78-47 created the Naples Park
street lighting dlstrlct, and;
WHEREAS, Ordlnance 78-47 sets the maximum millage rate for
operation of the district at two ellis, and;
WHEREAS, It Is deemed that 1.5 mills represents a more falr and
reasonable estimate of the maximum revenue required by the dlstrict,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTYi FLORIDA that:
Section 1. SECTION FOUR of Collier' County Ordinance No. 78-47
is hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION FOUR: Autherlzlno a Tax Levy Of Up .To One And One
Half Mills.

For the purposes of carrying Into effect this Ordinance, the~
budgetary law, make an Itemized estimate of the amount of
which .hall be from October 1st ~ and including September 30th
lng. The estimate shall have for what purpose the monies are required
and the amount necessat-y to be raised by taxation wlthln the District,
At the tlme and place for fixing the annual rate of taxation for County
purposes, the Board shall fix and cause to be levied on all property
wlthln the District subject to taxation a millage sufficient to meet the
requirements of' the estimate; provlded, however, the total millage shall
not exceed 1.5 mills.
5ection 2. Effective Date. This Ordlnance shall become effective
upon receipt of notice that It has been filed with the Secretam/ of'
State.
