BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA:
SECTION p,NE: .Creation~ .Purpose, Taxing AuthoKtty.
The District 3 MST Unit is hereby created, with boundaries described as shovm
on Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
The Unit hereby created and established is for the purpose of exercising thosJ
powers authorized by Florida Statutes Chapter 125 and other applicable laws.
SECTIOn! T~: Gove~nin~ Doard.~. POwers and Dutiel~.
The Governing Board of the Taxing Unit shall be the Board of County Co~tsstoners
of Collier County, Florida with the power and duty to conduct the affairs of the
Unit as prescribed by Florida Statutes.
SECTION ~IREE:
1. This Ordinance shall be liberally construed to effectuate its public purpose.
2. If any portion, phrase or word of this 9rdinance i$ held invalid or unconsti-
tutional, the remaining parts shall not be affected. ~ r~
SECTION FOUR: -~
1. The Clerk to tho Board shall file a certified copy of this Ordj, nance,l~itlf'l-J
the Department of State as soon after its er.~ctment as is practtcable.~ ~
SECTION FIVE:
This Ordinance shall supersede Ordinance Ho. 76-72 which was enacted by the Board
of County ConTnissioners on December 21, 1976 as recorded in OR Book 6, Pages 167-169
inclusively.
SECTION SiX: Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall become effective upon receipt of notice that it has been filed
with the Secretary of State.
