MUNICIPAL S£RVICE TAXING UNIT; PROVIDINn THE BOUNDARIES OF
THE Ut(IT; DESIGNATING THE GOVERNING'BODY OF TIlE UNIT;
AUTHORIZING A TAX LEVY AS PROVIDED BY LAW; PROVIDING FOR
CONSIRUCTION AND AN £FF£CTIV£ DAT£
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY CO)~ISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA:
SECTION ONE: Pursuant to Chapter 125 of the Florida Statutes, the Collier County
Production Park Street Lighting Municipal Service Taxing Unit t~ hereby created for the
purpose of providing lighting to the residents of the unit. This unit shall be deemed a
municipal service taxing or benefit unit as the same are delineated by Section 125.01 iq),
Florida Statutes.
~ECTION TWO: The unit is described as follows:
Commencing at the southeast corner of Section 36; Town}hip 49
South; Range 25 East; Collier County, Florida run N 00~15'42"
along the east line of said Section 36 a distance of 50.01 feet
to a point on the northerly right-of-waYoline of Radio Road and the
Poin~ of Beginning; thence continue N ~9 15'42" E 1924.60 feet; thence
S 89~18'34'' W 200.00 feet; thence N 00~15'42'' E 54.55 Feet; thence
S 89°18'34'' W 60.00 feet to a Point of Curvature of a non-tangent
curve; thence 38.85 feet along the arc of a curCe, concave to the

SECTION THREE: The governin~,.~Z of..th~;Unit shall be ex-officio the ~l~ard o
C~tssioners of Collier County, Florida.
SECTION FOUR: The Untt is formed for the purpose of providing street llghttng In the
above described subdivision and to that end shal! possess all the powers to do all thtngs
reasonably necessary to provide such services, Including ownership or rental of property,
pules, wtres, conduits, 11ghts, meters, and the power to maintain the same and to enter
Into contracts for providing same and the electric current to operate any lighttng system
therein Installed.
SECTION FIVE: For the purpose of carrying 1ntb effect this ordinance, the Board of
County Coemtsstoners shall annually, at the time required by general budgetary law, make
an ttemtzed estimate of the amount of money requtred to carry out the bustness of the
Unit for the next fiscal year, which shall be From October 1 to and Including September
30 following. The esttmate shall have For what purpose the monies are required and the
amount necessary to be raised by taxation within the untt. At the time and place for
fixing the annual rate of taxation for county purposes, the Board shall fix and cause to
be levted on all property wtthtn the unit subject to taxation a mtllage sufficient to
· eet the requirements of the estimate; provided, ho~ver, the total millage shall not
exceed the millage authorized by law for municipal service ta~tng or benefit units.
SECTION SIX: Taxes herein provided For shall be assessed and collected in the same
manner and form as provided for the assessment and collection of general county taxes
a,d subject to the sane fees for assessing and collecting as general county taxes.
SECTION SEVEN: This ordinance shall be liberally construed to effectuate its puhllc
purpose.
If any portion, phrase or worJ of this Ordinance ~s held tnvaltd or unconstitutional,
the remaining parts shall not be affected.
SECTION EIGHT: This ordinance shall become effective as provided by law.
